In a surprising partnership that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "A mysterious encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden cult.
The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will acquire an unique katana together with several objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
